During the COVID-19 pandemic, a lot of offices have been closed to mitigate the risk and help fight the virus, as we wait for the vaccine to be rolled out. During this time, Restore have been supporting organisations with “emergency mailrooms”.
Restore always have a backlog of PO Boxes purchased and ready to go, because regardless of the pandemic, there are times when a mailroom needs to be created ASAP. With our emergency mailroom service, we set up a simple mailroom, where we receipt, sort, and scan the days mail, uploading into our DocuWare system. DocuWare allows for easy folder management, with easy to set up permission settings. It also has built in indexing and OCR and some basic workflow functionality.
It can take just five days to set up a simple digital mailroom. It allows teams dependent on the day’s mail to access them that afternoon from home.
Once this simple mailroom is embedded, our customers often develop the mailroom into something more complex. Becoming less of an emergency solution, and more an integral part of back-office workflows.
